Amazing base for discovering Palenque. Exceptionally comfortable bed, particularly good bathroom and climate control, flat-screen television, and a safe in the room. Decent area, central location close enough to the centre and the cafes and restaurants and the ruins in 10min by car, taxi or van. 10 minutes' walk to Parque Central.

We ate at a nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The location was excellent, just a short walk away from Cascadas de Agua Azul.

Its location at a short distance from Cascadas de Agua Azul was marvellous. The room was spotless with a window to the hallway and the staff was amazingly nice!

The room we booked was new-fashioned and adequate with all bedrooms, coffee machine plus air conditioning as described. A shower, a hairdryer and guest toiletries was a plus. The location was great and unbeatable, for example, Agua Azul was just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel.

Real good overall experience. Ideal, impeccably clean hotel with exceptionally good breakfasts. A wide range of fine options for meal. Helpful and flexible staff on reception and elsewhere. Favourable location so close to cafe antoliona as well as the surroundings during the day, and decent prices. Also, in the jungle. Lovely pool, parking off site;))

The pool was a nice place to cool off from the hot and humid weather, and the beautiful grounds added to the overall ambiance. The location was very convenient for accessing both the bus station and the archaeological site, making it easy to explore the area. In addition, there were quite a few great restaurants nearby, offering plenty of dining options.

The journey from San Cristobal de las Casas took an unnecessarily long and indirect route, making it a frustrating and uncomfortable experience. The collectivos from Palenque back to San Cristobal were crowded and uncomfortable as well.

My husband's birthday occurred during our stay, and a friend requested a bottle of wine to be placed in our room. The staff at Hotel Maya Tulipanes Palenque went above and beyond, surprising us with a lovely bottle, glasses, and a birthday card they made. Their assistance was greatly appreciated. The room was large and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring downtown Palenque. It was only a short walk from the ADO station and had easy access to transportation to the Palenque Ruins. I highly recommend this hotel.
